The Metro 6R4 has gone. Sadly, with Chris moving abroad (well, out of Cornwall) we have taken the painful decision to hang up our overalls for a while and have sold our Mighty Metro. We are gutted to see it go as we could have had so much fun and so many more great results with it, but the time is right to move on. We do need to say though that . . . . WE WILL BE BACK . . . . although the car has gone, we have no intention of retiring and will be back in something competitive at some time in the future - hopefully not too distant future!!!

We bought the Metro 6R4 in 2004 and have had a string of great results with it, including First Overall on the 2005 Tour of Cornwall, Third Overall on the highly competitive Carnival Stages in 2005, Second Overall on the 2005 City of Truro Rally and a truly brilliant First Overall on the 2007 Tour of Cornwall Rally.

Most people who follow our progress are aware that Chris and Adrian had a year off in 2006 with Adrian sitting alongside David Appleby to guide him to Second Overall on the Tour of Cornwall in David's amazing Subaru Impreza S10. Chris then returned (without Adrian who was busy at work) to win the 2007 event outright.

Hope the Tour of Cornwall team don't mind us borrowing their photo (thanks all!) but here are the lads on the Friday night stages of the 2007 Tour .....

We had planned to compete on the Boconnoc Summer Stages Rally on 17th June 2007 but this event was cancelled at the last minute after issues with access to the land. It now seems that the 2005 City of Truro was to be the last event together for Chris, Adrian and the 6R4.
