Chris Dillow and Adrian Tregunna

Chris and Adrian started competing together in November 1991, when they undertook their first stage rally together, in a Mini Cooper S at Davidstow Airfield, near Camelford. Over the following years the team won their class on events and ran inside the top 10 overall on more than one occasion, beating far more powerful machinery in the process.

This was our first rally car - a great Mini Cooper S......

In 1994, Chris sold the Mini for export to the United States and purchased a Vauxhall Nove GTE. Over the next four years, this car was developed with a 2-litre engine and gearbox, to compete in the up to 2-litre class. This combination would be capable of winning the class and on occasion winning certain events outright. The team regularly led their class and ran inside the top five places on many events. We also ran inside the top fifteen of the Tour of Cornwall and in 1998 & 1999, we set top ten times on a number of stages.

This was our extremely successful Nova......

In 2000, a 1600cc “kit car” specification engine was installed. The team went on to record ten wins and a second place out of eleven finishes and set the benchmark for the class. They also recorded a 1st Overall on the Tour of Cornwall Trophy Rally 2003. The Nova was eventually sold to a very keen competitor in Ireland, one of the most competitive tarmac rally arenas in Europe and it is great to see him enjoying success in a car we developed.

Eager for a fresh challenge, a championship winning, 2.5 litre, MG Metro 6R4 was purchased for the 2004 season and we have had a lot of fun with it ever since. With over 300bhp and 4-wheel-drive, this car enables the team to challenge for overall victory on most events.

And this is what our latest toy looks like......
